FICO Consultant Job Description

This role is a senior-level position that requires expertise in SAP Financialis and strong knowledge of financial management concepts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Finance, with a proven track record of implementing financial transformations in manufacturing enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuring and troubleshooting SAP FI system settings, including chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
  • Mastery of financial transaction processing, including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
  • Proficient with SAP transaction codes related to FI, such as FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, and FBL5N.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Finance
    • SAP FI modules (General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting)
    • SAP transaction codes (FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, FBL5N)
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams.
    • Problem-solving capability to quickly diagnose and fix FI functional issues.
    • Ability to document functional specs, configuration details, and user manuals.
