Finance System Specialist

The role of the Finance System Specialist is crucial in implementing, configuring and optimizing the SAP S/4HANA system to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing financial processes (GST End to End configuration, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Order & CO-PA, Project System, Fund Center, Interfaces/System Integration)
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes and objectives
  • Documenting and analyzing business requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4HANA capabilities
  • Developing and executing test plans to validate that the configured SAP S/4HANA system meets business requirements and is free of defects
  • Assisting in data migration efforts, ensuring accurate transformation and loading of legacy data into SAP S/4HANA
  • Supporting change management initiatives to help users adapt to the new SAP S/4HANA system
  • Staying up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA updates and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency
  • Ensuring seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA modules with other systems and applications as needed
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful SAP S/4HANA projects
  • Providing end-user training and preparing training materials

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong background in designing, developing and interfacing with SAP data targets, extractors, and Activate methodology
  • Experience in customization of financial processes
