Sr. Backend PHP Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Backend PHP Developer to join our core team.

  • Develop and maintain complex legacy code bases, such as ERP systems, with 50+ modules.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing timelines effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing unit tests, good understanding of code quality, and excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Experience working with global clients, direct verbal and written communication with team members/managers, and a strong focus on ownership, ideation, and innovation are highly desirable.

Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge of PHP language (6+ Years Experience), updated to version 8.x.
  2. Expertise in MVC based framework especially Laminas (Zend), Laravel or Symphony.
  3. Experienced in working on very complex legacy code base (with 50+ modules) such as ERP system.
  4. Good understanding of code quality and capability to make right programming decisions.
  5. Good English communication skills (verbal as well as written).
  6. Experienced in working with global clients with direct verbal and written communication with team mates/managers.
