**Back End Developer Job Opportunity**

About this Role:

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Web Developer to join our team at ZeTheta Algorithms Private Limited, a FinTech start-up that develops innovative AI tools. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for server-side application logic, database design, and building secure and efficient APIs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and implementing secure RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js. You should also be proficient in developing and maintaining server-side applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Laravel (PHP).

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building secure RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js
  • Developing and maintaining server-side applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Laravel (PHP)
  • Implementing authentication and authorization systems
  • Designing and managing database schemas using MongoDB Atlas or other databases with PostGRE SQL
  • Creating efficient data models and database queries
  • Developing blockchain-based certificate verification system
  • Implementing server-side validation and security measures
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing backend performance

You will work independently in a remote setting, troubleshooting and optimizing backend performance, integrating third-party services and external APIs when needed, and documenting API endpoints and backend functionality for front-end developers.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Basic proficiency in one or more backend frameworks (Node.js/Express, Django, Flask, Laravel)
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Supabase), SQLite, or NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Awareness of security concerns and best practices
