About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Professional to join our team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing buyer accounts, procuring orders, and providing inputs to the design team for collections.

Responsibilities:

  1. To develop & manage buyer accounts by building strong relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.
  2. Procurement of order and following it through from inception to delivery.
  3. Provide inputs to Design team for collections by staying up-to-date with market trends and consumer behavior.
  4. Tap into existing buyer networks to secure orders at competitive prices.
  5. Regular visits to factories and communication with buyers to stay informed about industry developments.
  6. Maintain office updated on changing market trends to ensure strategic decisions.
  7. Pulse on buyers' purchasing patterns and financial condition to inform product development.
  8. To provide tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
  9. Coordinate with production, dispatch & quality departments to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Remain current with industry best practices to drive growth.
  11. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be highly organized.
