Seeking a strategic Data Governance Specialist to lead data governance initiatives and take ownership of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

In this role, you will design governance frameworks, drive adoption, and enable trusted data for analytics, compliance, and AI initiatives.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to define and scale data governance practices, work with senior stakeholders, and influence data culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and administer Collibra across the enterprise.
  • Design and configure the Collibra Operating Model (domains, assets, workflows, and roles).
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate Collibra with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Act as the Collibra SME and evangelist, promoting adoption and governance maturity across the organization.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting.
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Collibra deployments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Foundation in data architecture or data engineering.
