Job Title: Financial Modelling Manager

We are seeking an experienced financial modelling professional to join our team as a Financial Modelling Manager/Senior Financial Modelling Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, developing and running project finance-based financial models for renewable energy projects.

  1. Create, maintain and update complex financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
  2. Evaluate Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify key assumptions and structure the financial model for bidding purposes.
  3. Collaborate with various teams, including Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC, and others to gather inputs for the financial model.
  4. Support the Development, EPC, and Financing teams in running case studies and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and analyze key drivers.
  5. Work closely with model auditors to ensure compliance with audit standards and guidelines.
  6. Assist lenders during the project finance process by providing financial model support.
  7. Own and maintain the financial model, providing expert advice to the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  8. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close.
  9. Prepare presentations related to financial analysis.
  10. Train and supervise junior modelers.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  • 4-5 years of experience in financial modelling for solar/renewable projects.
