Cloud Solutions Architect Job Description

This role requires a visionary leader who can design and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions, leveraging expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Pioneering the adoption of new-age cloud offerings, establishing best practices for cloud, automation & Dev-Ops as a thought leader.
  2. Staying ahead of technology and client needs by continually augmenting skills and learning new technologies.
  3. Designing hybrid-cloud solutions for customers using GCP expertise.
  4. Leveraging leadership skills to facilitate project teams in defining deliverables around core cloud-based technologies and methods.
  5. Ensuring IT standards and methodology adherence while delivering high-quality results.
  6. Participating in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code, and other artifacts.
  7. Staying updated on new technical concepts in GCP and identifying areas for improvement.
  8. Providing expert advice on security, risk, and compliance, focusing on access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and related areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Computing (GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • 4+ years proven experience as a GCP Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.

We prioritize experience and skills over formal education. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputable institution or equivalent experience is preferred.
