Job Summary

We seek a seasoned data center mechanical design expert to lead the development of innovative cooling solutions for hyperscale data centers.

  • Cooling System Design Leadership:
  • Design and optimize cooling infrastructure for large-scale data centers, ensuring efficient performance, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Select and specify cooling equipment, components, and materials, considering energy efficiency, scalability, and system integration.
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed designs for various data center layouts, incorporating HVAC systems and precision cooling solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cooling solutions with other building and data center systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the design and implementation phases.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and engineering cooling systems for large-scale, hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities.
  • Extensive experience with a wide range of cooling technologies, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems, chillers, CRAC units, and precision cooling systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in HVAC design, sustainability (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE).
  • Experience in integrating free cooling and waste heat recovery systems.
  • Knowledge of smart building technologies and IoT systems for optimizing cooling performance.
