Job Description:

The role of Senior Intellectual Property (IP) Executive is crucial in leading and scaling the firm's Search & Licensing vertical. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, technical oversight, and business leadership to drive the overall performance, profitability, and growth of the vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and execution of the strategic roadmap for the Search & Licensing business unit.
  • Aligning the vertical's offerings with market needs and evolving IP trends.
  • Setting annual goals, budget forecasts, and investment plans for the BU.

Revenue Generation & P&L Ownership:

  • P&L ownership of the vertical; ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Developing pricing strategies, resource allocation, and service optimization plans to maximize profitability.
  • Tracking project pipelines, billing, and receivables in coordination with the Finance Team.

Service Delivery & Quality Assurance:

  • Supervising end-to-end execution of all IP Search and Analytics services.
  • Implementing rigorous quality control protocols and ensuring delivery timelines are met.

IP Monetization & Licensing:

  • Leading the design and execution of IP Monetization strategies.
  • Supporting clients in identifying licensing opportunities, negotiating deals, and executing transactions.
  • Building a strong partner/licensee ecosystem across industries.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Leading a team of analysts, senior searchers, and licensing professionals.
  • Driving a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Monitoring performance and conducting regular feedback and appraisal sessions.

Capability Building & Leadership Development:

  • Mentoring and grooming high-potential team members into future leadership roles.
  • Conducting regular training sessions on search techniques, licensing frameworks, and communication.
