Objective:

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to prepare financial statements, manage the general ledger, and perform account reconciliations.

This is a full-time remote role that requires analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing support for audits.

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Tax Returns: Prepare and file tax returns on behalf of the organization.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for audits, including responding to auditor inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certification: CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry is an advantage.
