Lead Engineering Vision

As a Senior Leader, you will spearhead the direction of engineering teams to achieve excellence. This involves taking ownership of key initiatives that require collaboration with stakeholders to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's vision and ensure it aligns with the team's goals.
  • Grow and develop teams by driving conversations on career development and aligning growth with long-term business needs.
  • Own and drive engineering strategy for the team, deliver critical initiatives within specified timelines, and contribute towards the product roadmap to drive maximum impact.
  • Participate in end-to-end recruiting processes, hiring exceptional engineering talent, and defining metrics for team performance.
  • Identify broader problems, provide multi-quarter roadmaps, and prioritize effectively through collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with peers to craft best practices, guidelines, and standards, and evolve the team's vision and strategy.

Responsibilities include ensuring end-user experience, performance, security, and high availability of the product, targeting 99.99 availability.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS).
  • 3 years of technical leadership experience building exceptional products delivering delightful experiences.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience building microservices architectures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
