Job Title: Data Engineering Leader

About the Role
  • This is a senior position that requires a technical leader with extensive experience in data engineering and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance on data governance, compliance, and security measures within Azure environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and technology leadership roles.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, query optimization, and ETL processes (data extraction, transformation, and loading).
  • Experience working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools like Python, R, and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization, data modeling, and DAX queries, with knowledge of best practices.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for Power BI and experienced in performance optimization of existing implementations.
