Senior MLOps Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior MLOps Engineer to spearhead our AI/ML operations.

Job Summary:

This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of Machine Learning Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of ML systems, from experimentation to deployment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. They should also have knowledge of Terraform, containerization, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of model productionization: ensuring models are properly tracked, governed, and deployed in a resilient and scalable manner.
  • Building automation-first delivery: reproducible builds, layered tests, and environment promotion via GitLab CI and Terraform.
  • Designing and implementing scalable serving architecture: batch and real-time inference on EKS/ECS/Lambda and Databricks Model Serving.
  • Maintaining end-to-end observability: data, model, system; detecting drift/regressions; leading incidents and post-mortems.
  • Collaboration across teams: translating requirements into designs, ADRs, and change plans; balancing security, privacy, cost, and performance tradeoffs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Operating ML systems in production (MLOps); 3+ years of experience.
  • Python programming skills for ML engineering.
  • Experience developing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform configurations.
  • Deployment and operation of compute resources for ML; secure data access patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced GitLab CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Expertise in Terraform configuration management.
  • Real-time serving architecture design.
