Job Overview:

The role aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Vertical Transportation market, promoting local presence, generating sales, and building relationships with customers and regulators. Key responsibilities include leading professional teams in strategic locations across India, delivering services according to management guidelines and Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize with the VT landscape in India, including customer, competitor, authority, and regulation.
  • Provide market input for updating and fine-tuning the VT strategy for India.
  • Develop a business development strategy to implement growth targets and meet agreed sales targets.
  • Promote oneself as a leading VT authority in India through effective customer relationship management and networking.
  • Create and identify sales leads, prepare sales presentations, and coordinate global VT expert participation.
  • Maintain smooth operations, ensure profit responsibility, and manage resources, recruitment, and team leadership.

Requirements:

  • Integrative personality with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication abilities in relevant languages (min. B2 level).
  • Strong presentation and telephone skills, MS office software proficiency, and mobility for regional business trips.
  • Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical) and Master degree beneficial, particularly in business-oriented fields (MBA).
