Job Overview

The AWS DevOps Architect role is a strategic position within our organization. As a key member of the Professional Services Innovation Team, this individual will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available, resilient, and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture and Design: Lead the development of architecture and design principles for AWS infrastructure solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in performance, reliability, and security.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of applications and infrastructure, employing advanced techniques to improve resource utilization and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Spearhead continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes.
  • Automation: Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployments.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Build and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack. Implement robust logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Security Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and assessments of systems and the underlying infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in AWS cloud computing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • AWS Certified DevOps Architect is preferred.
