Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Linux administrator to manage and maintain our SUSE servers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with managing IBM, DELL, Lenovo Fujitsu and HP HANA appliance servers.

Responsibilities include building/reimages SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environment.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to manage Linux virtual machines configured in ESX environments.

Providing Level 3 supports to customers and managing the Antivirus environment is also required.

Patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers as well as exposure on DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, Email services are essential.

A good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution is necessary.

The candidate should also have experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues.

OS Concepts on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, LDAP, high availability and disaster recovery concepts, Monitoring etc.

Azure Skills:

Thorough knowledge on Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS. · Deep understanding of Cloud Computing and various deployment methodologies ·

Ability to design application and deployment architecture from On-premise to Cloud

Provided architectural guidance for Azure solutions

Strong knowledge of Azure App services, Azure Resource Manager (ARM Templates)

Required skills and qualifications :

  • At least 7 years of experience with Linux administration.
  • Experience with SUSE servers and IBM, DELL, Lenovo Fujitsu and HP HANA appliance servers.
  • Knowledge of DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, Email services.
  • Good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution.
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues.
