About the Position

As a seasoned Linux professional, you will be responsible for resolving intricate issues and identifying potential future problems across multiple platforms and services. You will collaborate with clients, managing system data, providing day-to-day solutions, and ensuring security compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage client system data, deliver daily solutions, and maintain security standards.
  • Prioritize tasks to provide optimal solutions to clients.
  • Recommend infrastructure modernization options, identify new business opportunities, and foster relationships with other teams and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting minor and major system issues, including hardware failures.
  • Cluster issue troubleshooting using Pacemaker and Coro sync.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, Python scripting, and Perl scripting.
  • SUSE Linux installation and configuration.
  • System performance tuning and optimization.
  • Package management and software installation.
  • User and security management.
  • Networking and troubleshooting.
  • System backup and recovery.
  • Virtualization and containerization.
  • SUSE high availability and clustering.
  • Automation and scripting.
  • Logging and monitoring.
  • Cloud integration and management.
Desirable Experience:
  • Automation experience with Ansible or AIops.
  • Vulnerability management.

This role requires a strong background in Linux administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
