Technical Support Consultant Job

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Consultant to ensure the high availability and performance of our Murex platform. In this role, you will work closely with technology teams to maintain a resilient environment for trading and risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and support Murex applications to guarantee high uptime and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLA) timelines.
  • Perform log analysis, root-cause identification, and provide permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, database administration (DBA), and network teams to resolve environment-related issues.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities to maintain optimal system health.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in IT support with hands-on exposure to Python/Java programming languages, cloud computing (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL databases.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience working with Murex.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience with automation or scripting for production support to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Exposure to financial products and trading systems to better understand the business requirements.
