Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Create and maintain efficient Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.
  • Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Perform performance tuning and query optimization for scalable and efficient database applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.
  • Experience with performance tuning techniques and Explain Plan.
  • Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with other database technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Oracle certification.
