About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Oracle Database Administrator.

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases in various environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle 12c/19c database administration and excellent knowledge of RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, and Data Pump.

You will work closely with developers to optimize queries, stored procedures, and schema design for high-transaction systems.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing data encryption, access control policies, and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOX, RBI, and other regulatory guidelines.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can deliver world-class database solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (12c/19c and later) in Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Configure RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and clustering for high availability.
  • Manage Oracle listener, network services, and connectivity.
  • Implement data encryption (TDE, Data Redaction, Network Encryption) and access control policies.
  • Enforce security standards aligned with PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOX, RBI, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop shell scripts, PL/SQL scripts, and Ansible/Terraform playbooks to automate recurring DBA tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c database administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted Oracle DB solutions (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of database security standards & compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git).
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) or Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Prior experience in fintech, banking, or lending domain.
  • Knowledge of GoldenGate or advanced replication solutions.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized database deployments.
