Software Engineer Position Overview

This role is open for an experienced software engineer with expertise in developing and maintaining digital asset management platforms. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python programming, have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience with databases, web frameworks, and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and manage infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of the platform.
  • Develop software using strong programming skills, including proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant libraries.
  • Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval, leveraging expertise with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex issues, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Good experience with SQL.
  • Excellent experience with web frameworks such as Tornado, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with video encoding using ffmpeg and image processing (GraphicsMagick, PIL).
  • Good experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Machine Learning and associated tools.
  • Web/Proxy servers (nginx/Apache/Traefik).
  • SaaS stacks such as task queues, search engines, cache servers.
  • Prior experience in a startup or early-stage team.
