
Cybersecurity Market Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Indian market.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection, SASE, and zero trust frameworks.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
- Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions and generate leads.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, preferably with a cybersecurity OEM or system integrator.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
- Ability to discuss and demonstrate technical concepts, architectures, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, CERT-In, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) or sales (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
