Job Summary

As a member of the Integration Services team at Copeland, the Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, creating test cases, and supporting Integration applications for the company's businesses and enterprise. This position primarily specializes in Integration technologies and toolsets, including MuleSoft. The successful candidate will also have the ability to learn API development and management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop integration application services and APIs using MuleSoft or other integration platforms and toolsets.
  • Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance and quality of built applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Work with peer developers and management to ensure quality delivery to the business.
  • Provide prompt updates to the business and internal team to ensure transparent communication.
  • Perform unit testing and user acceptance testing with all required customers.
  • Translate requirements into efficient integration toolset flows.
  • Build and maintain appropriate application documentation, while sharing knowledge with other team members.
  • Maintain application code to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution of bugs.
  • Explore the latest technologies and toolsets in Integration and API development areas.
  • Work effectively in a global team environment.

Requirements

  • Years of overall experience in Integration and API development.
  • Development experience on integration tools, preferably MuleSoft.
  • Understanding of integration application design and flows.
  • Good understanding of XML, JSON, and linked standards like XSLT, XSD, XQuery, etc.
  • Good understanding of MuleSoft server and deployment process.
  • Expertise on file transfer systems (MFT) and protocols like FTP/SFTP/FTPS.
  • Good understanding of messaging standards like SOAP/REST.
  • Good understanding of Java/JEE language/framework (a plus).
  • Proven track record of independently analyzing and resolving issues.
  • Good understanding of database systems and ability to write basic SQL commands.
  • Must be a team player, with intra- and inter-team collaboration essential for this position.
  • Must have good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be open to extending working hours for project delivery.
  • Open to learning and researching the latest API and integration development toolsets and frameworks.
  • Positive demeanor towards learning new technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be open to working during off-hours and days as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or master's or equivalent experience in computer applications).
  • MuleSoft.
  • Java.
  • RESTful API/Microservices.
