
Strategic Mandi Growth Specialist

The Marketplace Business Manager is responsible for driving the overall strategy, management and growth of a specific mandi within our business. This role involves a combination of skills including strategic planning, supply chain management, demand generation and market understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase supply and demand within a particular mandi and expand market share.
- Analyse local trends and competitor activities to form appropriate plans for growth opportunities.
- IDentify revenue and cost-saving opportunities for maximising profits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Supply Chain, Finance and Credit teams to optimise costs and enhance revenue.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of produce and experience to customers.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage technology and innovation to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements:
- Professionals with 2-5 years of experience in key account management roles with end-to-end responsibility in a fast-paced setup.
- Rural area sales exposure is preferred.
- B2B sales experience in FMCG/Ecommerce industries with hands-on understanding of credit facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and first-principle thinking.
- Should have managed operations with a track record of process efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Desire to travel across rural areas in the assigned geography.
