Java Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web-based applications using Spring Boot, React, Micro Services, REST APIs/Web Services, and other related technologies. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Java 8, Spring Framework, and JUnit.
  • Develop high-quality front-end components using React and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and deploy microservices architecture.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.

Requirements:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, and related technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
  • Strong understanding of AWS and experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of FreeMarker and experience in using it for templating.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools like Glowroot and Jprofiler.
  • Basic knowledge of Ruby, Bundler, Gradle, Leiningen, GoCD, Ansible, and other DevOps tools.
