Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Java technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of Java 8 or above, Spring Batch/Core/Boot, Hibernate, XML binding, parsers, and xslt
  • Understanding of Micro Service Architecture and experience with messaging platforms like IBM MQ or Solace
  • Experience with integration patterns like REST SOA and Oracle database 11g or above
  • Knowledge of solution design and architecture, including design patterns, refactoring, and architecture decisions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SDLC tools like Maven, Artifactory, Teamcity, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, and GITHUB
  • Unix scripting and hands-on experience with performance engineering, different types of tests, measurement, monitoring, tools, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
