Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our indirect tax practice and drive business growth. As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, advising clients on regulations, and developing strategic plans to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate revenue through proactive business development and origination of new opportunities
  • Lead the indirect tax practice strategically, driving growth and expansion into new markets
  • Provide expert advice to clients on complex tax regulations, advocating their interests and resolving disputes
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to mitigate risk and resolve disputes
  • Create knowledge capital through thought leadership and publications, enhancing the firm's reputation in the industry
  • Foster team capabilities and develop talent through training and mentorship programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with additional qualifications like LLB or MBA in Finance/Taxation preferred
  2. A minimum of 15 years of experience in indirect tax, including 5+ years in a leadership/Partner/Director role in a top-tier consulting firm
  3. Proven expertise in GST legislation, litigation, and strategic tax advisory across various industries
  4. Strong experience in business development and revenue origination, with a proven track record of success
