Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead the development of our SRE strategy.

This role will be responsible for defining, driving, and implementing site reliability engineering strategies that promote an "automate-first" culture in operating services to reduce toil.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an SRE practitioner, with 12+ years of experience in defining and implementing SRE strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing methodologies and strategies for identifying toil-heavy processes and automating them.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop metrics and actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, service quality/SLA, and delivery optimization.
  • Defining monitoring strategies and implementing appropriate capabilities.
  • Designing and implementing reliability improvements.
  • Conducting capacity planning and chaos engineering exercises.
  • Leading architectural reviews for reliability and driving continuous improvement from incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of production support processes.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and design, configuration management solutions (e.g., Ansible, Chef), and modern observability tooling (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus).
