Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in providing technical support for desktop environments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
- Document support activities and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient operations and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with hardware components, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and VPN.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
