Chemical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chemical consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on chemical-related matters to clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strive to achieve defined revenue and cost goals through effective business development and proposal writing.
  • Build and write proposals with minimum support from senior team members, gathering requirements during client briefings and formulating winning research solutions for client business problems.
  • Participate in tasks related to business development, marketing outreach programs, and the development of industry/capability decks, white papers, thought papers, articles, and case studies to support business development.
  • Lead the building, developing, training, and mentoring of a team of senior analysts, analysts, and associates specialized in offering techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials domain.
  • Ensure the nurture and recruit of team members as and when required.
  • Handle all client communication, including client queries related to specific studies - kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, feedback calls, etc.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate and facilitate technical, business, and analytical discussions (thought leadership).
  • Display strong analytical mindset and a strong technical background to generate insights and actionable recommendations for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in chemical & material or related fields, or equivalent experience. OR bachelor's in chemical/polymer science/metallurgy/industrial and MBA.
  • Minimum six years of experience in business research or consulting type engagements.
  • Must have deep primary research experience firsthand and have the ability to train team members & improve their primary research skills (preferred experience would be for primary research for pricing & cost analysis).
  • Rich experience in end-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, up-to-date with recent industry happenings and challenge areas for Chemicals and Natural Resource industry.
  • Past and current experience in handling teams of qualified professionals.
  • Excellent knowledge of Market Analysis, Business Analysis, Technology Analysis, Competitor Intelligence, Management Frameworks, Advanced MS Office, Forecasting, and Business Writing.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management in an effective, proactive manner.
  • Candidates should be self-organized, planned, matured, and detail-oriented.
