Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using various tools such as Selenium, UFT and SoapUI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts: Using programming languages like Java, .Net, Python and JavaScript, design and develop automated test scripts to test software applications.
  • Maintain and update test scripts: Regularly maintain and update test scripts to ensure they remain relevant and effective in testing software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with development, QA and other teams to identify areas of improvement in the automation framework and provide recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts: Have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Be proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, .Net, Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools: Have experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, SoapUI or Appium.
  • CI/CD implementation: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Test management tools: Experience with test management tools such as JIRA.
  • NYL experience: Prior experience working in New York region.
