Job Overview

    Process safety engineering is a crucial discipline that ensures the safe design and operation of offshore production facilities, high-pressure gas processing systems, and oil/water/gas separation facilities.

  • This role plays a pivotal part in safeguarding personnel, assets, and the environment by applying industry knowledge, best practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing process deliverables for conceptual, FEED, and EPC projects.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing Hazardous Area Classification Schedules and drawings, designing process safety for production systems such as crude oil, produced water treatment, water injection, and condensate treatment.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of FPSO offshore production facilities, high-pressure gas processing systems, and oil/water/gas separation facilities.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Hysys and FlareNet is essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also necessary.
  • Experience in process safety engineering with a focus on floating production systems, LPG, and LNG storage and treatment is preferred.

About This Opportunity

    The successful candidate will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. They will be responsible for reviewing and providing guidance on discipline engineering and design deliverables including P&ID, datasheets.

    As a key member of the team, the Process Safety Engineer will be accountable for sizing flare networks using standard tools like Hysys, FlareNet etc. and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
