Job Overview:

A senior engine expert oversees the technical validation and execution of UAV propulsion system integration, calibration, and diagnostics.

This role ensures operational integrity across platforms by conducting bench tests, root cause analysis, scheduled maintenance, and post-flight propulsion assessments.

The senior engineer mentors junior staff, enforces compliance with airworthiness and quality protocols, and contributes to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engine System Architecture & Subsystem Integration

  • Design and develop engine systems architecture and subsystem integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of propulsion systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for engine system architecture and subsystem integration.

2. Propulsion System Validation & Diagnostics

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of propulsion systems to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot propulsion system faults, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and implement diagnostic tools and techniques to optimize propulsion system performance.

3. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in engine development and production.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
