Job Title

Electrical and Instrumentation Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe and efficient management of preventive maintenance & breakdown of instruments and electrical equipments through effective engineering norms to meet or exceed maintenance requirements.
  • Communicating with authorities and complying with all associated legal requirements.
  • Co-ordinating with regional teams for implementation of best maintenance practices like Risk Based Maintenance (RBM), EPS in Instrumentation and Electrical streams.
  • Digitalization initiatives like OT security, and acting as Loss Control Specialist.
Additional Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Maintenance management. Fluency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi language. Experience in SAP is preferred.
  • PLC programming experience.
Required Education and Experience:
  • B.E./B.Tech. - Instrumentation or Electronics & Communication with 10-12 years of experience in plant maintenance.
  • Active registration on ELORA AERB website for Radiation Professionals.
Experience
  • Install, commission, and validate new equipment. Provide mechanical support designing, fabrication through vendors.
  • Sizing and selecting proper instruments.
  • Telephone EPBX programming, configuration, CCTV configuration etc.
  • Contract manpower planning, assigning jobs daily, and ensuring safe maintenance.
  • Plan, schedule, and carry out shut down maintenance jobs.
  • Support in controlling maintenance cost, analyzing breakdown, Prepare CAPA, diagnosing, identifying the root cause, and implementing actions.
  • Coordination with external vendors and other departments and sustain team work.
  • Carry out cost estimate for equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement.
  • Attend assigned EHSQ and GMP related actions.
  • Meet applicable EHS legal and Evonik requirements.
  • To ensure safe maintenance through adherence to the EHS policy, Life Saving Rules, Work Permit, use of Personal Protective Equipments, Management of Change, Pre-Job Plan, Incident Reporting, EHS procedures etc.
