Agricultural Business Development Manager

Job Description:
As a Deputy Manager - Sales and Marketing Farm Machinery at Mahindra Rise, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of farm machinery business in the region. Your primary responsibility will be to manage smooth sales execution at dealership and distributor levels, ensuring revenue generation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage activation, enquiry generation, and conversion at dealership and distributor levels.
- Coordinate retail and wholesale finance.
- Ensure product availability and right product mix at dealer points.
- Implement state-level strategies and achieve state farm machinery targets.
- Manage business with complete financial discipline.
- Promote self-propelled combine harvesters and tractor-driven implements to ensure state farm machinery business growth.
- Liaise with government officials to identify dealerships and distributors and develop a channel network to increase coverage and business.
- Conduct detailed competition analysis and design specific action plans against competition in those markets.
- Appoint new dealerships and distributors who can bring business and are financially stable.
- Train dealerships and distributors and their available manpower on implements and selling.
- Enhance dealer profitability through farm machinery business.
- Interface with the marketing service cell and manufacturing cell at the Head Office for speedy resolution of service issues at the area office.
- Ensure timely supply of all farm machinery products and services with a service level of 90% plus against monthly demand.
- Coordinate with the state tractor team to ensure state farm machinery business targets.
- Ensure resolution of customer complaints for sustainable farm machinery business.

General Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience in the agricultural sector
Critical Experience: 1-5 years of experience in farm machinery roles, having worked in 1-2 different geographies (states) and rural markets, with a basic understanding of the farm industry, tractors, and implements.
