**Job Title:** Support Analyst
Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Support Analyst to join our team. As a Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and configuration across the bank's banking arm and securities business.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between the bank and the securities business, making decisions on behalf of both entities subject to the same remit and level of authority.
- You will provide technical support and configuration across the bank's banking arm and securities business.
- You will be responsible for supporting UK hours from 7am to 4pm or 9am to 6pm or 10am to 7pm, as required.
- You will participate in overnight support rota (on call) and weekend work (releases/support etc).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support and configuration across the bank's banking arm and securities business.
- SUPPORTING UK HOURS FROM 7AM TO 4PM OR 9AM TO 6PM OR 10AM TO 7PM, AS REQUIRED.
- Participating in overnight support rota (on call) and weekend work (releases/support etc).
- Documenting technical requirements or processes to capture the configuration being performed.
- Supporting and testing technical systems/servers.
- Working with third-party software providers and adhering to pre-defined application standards.
- Raising queries or tickets if software defects are identified with the software vendor.
- Applying industry experience to ensure solutions incorporate best practice.
- Working with neighboring technology and project teams to ensure changes are rolled out in a coordinated manner that is non-disruptive to the business.
- Coordinating activities around go-live events to ensure services are transitioned into the live production environment in a compliant and non-disruptive manner.
- Providing post-live support and assisting with remediation where necessary.
- Working on key technical areas identified below.
- Ensuring defects are tracked and managed with the appropriate team assigned any defects identified during test phases.
- Highlighting risks or concerns and ensuring items are followed up or escalated appropriately.
The following skills are mandatory:
- Experience with vendor application Smartstream Cash Management (CMS) version 4, Control Process Designer, Smart Schema, and some Smartstream Records.
- Excellent communication skills, able to converse with a wide variety of teams (Unix/Database/Application).
- Familiarity with Change Requests, attending and representing on CAB, and weekend rollout of code changes.
- Control M application knowledge, jobs creation, administration, alerting, file move, file watchers, json, etc.
- Oracle 19 SQL scripting and Oracle database concepts.
- Linux shell scripting and support.
- Ability to package up and manage configuration/code changes into releases, and apply to production.
- Jboss 8 server knowledge, configuration, and support, error log analysis, and WAR file deployment.
- JMS Queue processing and principles.
- GitHub software management and automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline.
