Product Innovation Specialist

This role involves driving product development based on established design principles. Technical assistance is provided to the production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Executing product design, design calculations, and simulations in accordance with design guidelines.
- Conducting market trend analysis and competitive landscape assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of technical aspects in R&D, including research methodologies, product development processes, and relevant technologies.
- Leading the entire product lifecycle from ideation to validation, ensuring products meet quality standards and market requirements.
- Preparation of design documentation as per new product development and release procedures.
- Understanding automotive mindsets and adapting to automotive design and development methods.
- Characterizing and approving new materials, as well as supporting operations for handling quality issues related to raw materials.
- Addressing customer requirements from automotive specifications and identifying new or alternate material suppliers.
- Managing audits and their requirements for UL, VDE, CQC, BIS, and IATF.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cost reduction projects, project management, and PPAP documentation. They should also be proficient in technical support and quality control processes.
