Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Specialist

Job Title: VAPT Consultant

Location: Hybrid, India

Experience: 6+ Years

OSCP - Mandatory Certification

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VAPT Consultant with a strong background in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. The ideal candidate must hold an OSCP certification and possess hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in networks, web applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on various platforms including Web, Mobile, Network, APIs, Cloud, etc.
  • Simulate real-world attacks to identify and exploit vulnerabilities using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to close security gaps and implement remediation plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest vulnerabilities, hacking techniques, and threat vectors through continuous training and research.
  • Assist in security audits, threat modeling, and risk assessments to ensure the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Contribute to red team/blue team security exercises and internal security knowledge building initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on VAPT experience with a proven track record of success.
  • OSCP Certification is mandatory; other relevant certifications such as CEH or CISSP are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Proficient in using industry-leading tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Wireshark, etc.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security controls.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud security assessments on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Exposure to red teaming or purple teaming engagements to enhance security knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
