Cybersecurity Expert

As a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our organization's IT infrastructure and assets from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cutting-edge security solutions to protect IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches and anomalies.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans, and lead the response to security incidents.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other advanced security tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and DevOps, to integrate security into DevSecOps practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, and Wireshark.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Hands-on experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Knowledge of container security, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.
