eCommerce Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and JavaScript, with experience working with Intershop commerce engine.

Main Responsibilities:
  • eCommerce API Development: Develop and maintain eCommerce APIs using Intershop commerce engine.
  • New Feature Development: Design and develop new features in the eCommerce platform using server-side Java and front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Integration: Integrate eCommerce modules with backend ERP systems using web services.
  • Interface Development: Develop interfaces/cartridges (REST and SOAP) to integrate with 3rd party services such as payment gateways, AEM CMS, Marketo, PIM, Salesforce, etc.
  • Application Architecture: Define and continuously improve application architecture for the eCommerce system with an eye on application security and data protection.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: 3+ years of professional IT experience, demonstrated ability working with Intershop or other E-Commerce platforms with Java-based server-side technologies, minimum of three years of JavaScript experience including Angular JS, current use of Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience, SOLR experience, expert knowledge of SOAP and REST standards for developing web services, and solid understanding of DevOps tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle, GIT, Jenkins.
  • Languages and Tools: Good experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JS libraries such as jQuery, Angular, knowledge of Linux, preferably in AWS, good understanding of distributed architectures and microservices.
