Site Reliability Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced technical professional to fill the role of Site Reliability Engineer. In this position, you will collaborate with clients from the banking industry to design and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement digital products and technology services for clients and employees.
  • Apply a range of software engineering practices, including analyzing user needs, developing new features, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by implementing digital principles and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.
  • Understand and represent client needs, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues, and contributing to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar position, with expertise in Core banking integration area in a development role.
  • Strong interest in learning new technologies and practices, with ability to reuse strategic platforms and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and writing.
  • Good knowledge of Java and relevant Java tech stack.
  • Awareness of 'Clean Code' and clean coding practices.
  • Test Driven Development and ability to design Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.
  • API first design.
  • Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event-driven systems and Microservices.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience.
