Job Description:

The Financial Assistant will be responsible for managing various financial and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations in a timely manner.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
    • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Accounting Entries & Record Keeping:
    • Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as per company policy.
    • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
    • Ensure timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
    • Prepare and verify general ledger balances on a regular basis.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:
    • Address any urgent financial or accounting queries as required.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for financial matters.
  • General Accounting & Support Functions:
    • Collaborate with the team for smooth financial operations and provide support when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes is essential.
  • Experience with accounting software is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools is required.
  • Knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
