Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technician to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various diagnostic tests and procedures using electronic equipment.

  1. Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs), phonocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  2. Ensure cardiology patients are comfortable and answer any questions they have about the tests.
  3. Record test results and consult with physicians on duty to schedule follow-up tests.
  4. Assist physicians during non-invasive cardiological procedures by monitoring patients' heart rates and alerting physicians to any readings outside normal ranges.
  5. Maintain cardiological equipment and supplies through daily cleanings and adjustments.
  6. Record supply inventory levels and restock the supply storeroom accordingly.
  7. Troubleshoot problems with cardiological equipment and report any malfunctions to superiors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Cardiac Interventions.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
