Healthcare Staff Job Description

This position involves supporting our firm's mission and values by demonstrating accountability, collaboration, excellence, and innovation.

Familiarize yourself with our policies and procedures, as well as the healthcare industry and its laws, regulations, and code of conduct.

Understand and comply with Medicaid and Medicare laws, as well as our firm's specific healthcare department practices and procedures.

Develop a working knowledge of healthcare terminology used in advisory services.

  • Prepare Medicaid and Medicare cost reports and related management analyses.
  • Coordinate and organize client data for accurate completion of cost reports.
  • Conduct healthcare research projects.
  • Complete and submit cost reports to experienced staff.

AICPA rules, regulations, and code of conduct are required.

Job Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of public accounting experience (one public accounting internship, preferably in healthcare consulting).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA eligible or licensed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Interact with clients and employees at all levels.

Detail-oriented individuals with a passion for accuracy are preferred.
