Job Opportunity: Logistics Manager

  • Manage the movement, storage, and processing of inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product requirements and recommend suitable solutions based on market analysis.
  • Compare industry trends to determine optimal pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their needs and manage inventory levels through effective planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing agreements related to logistics, warehousing, and inventory control, and maintain a tracker and repository.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through contract negotiation with partners and agencies.
  • Ensure timely imports shipments, coordination with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs department.
  • Engage with stakeholders to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, inventory, and imports.
  • Prepare and publish daily inventory reports for all products.
  • Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in logistics, import, and warehousing and inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
  • MBA or equal qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and prioritize work load to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
