Secure File Transfer Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Secure File Transfer Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure file transfer solutions using industry-standard protocols such as SFTP, SCP, AS2, and FTPS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure file transfer solutions using Go Anywhere, Seeburger MFT standard FTP servers, and secure FTP servers using SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), SCP, AS2, and FTPS (FTP over SSL) protocols.
  • Collaborate with the InfoSec team to remediate vulnerabilities on the MFT platform and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including PCI and PII data handling.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain secure file transfer processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfer protocols, including FTP, SFTP, SSH, and Http/s.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Unix, shell, or Python to automate file transfer tasks.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in designing and developing secure file transfer solutions using industry-standard protocols.
  • Experience with SFTP tools, standards, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of products such as Secure Transport, MoveIT, MSK, and AWS MQ.
  • Scripting experience with Unix, shell, or Python.
  • Understanding of PGP encryption, SSH Keys, and SSL Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with audit teams and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Hands-on work experience in MFT platforms and willingness to explore and learn AWS native solutions.
  • Card Holder Data processing, PCI, and PII data handling experience.
