Global Tax Compliance RoleThis is a tax compliance position in a global asset management firm. The role involves managing full-cycle US tax compliance for assigned funds and legal entities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle US tax compliance for assigned funds and legal entities (partnerships and corporate entities).
  • Review federal and state tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-F, 1042/8804), investor reporting (Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3), and tax provisions for blocker corporations.
  • Review tax withholding calculations for distributions within tight deadlines.
  • Interpret investment structures and apply appropriate tax treatments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology adoption; collaborate with tax technology teams to implement solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Communicate effectively with investors, banks, external tax/legal advisors, and global teams.
  • Draft clear and professional responses to investor tax queries and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across global offices to ensure timely and accurate compliance reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5–8 years of tax compliance experience within multinational financial services, asset management, or Big 4 advisory.
  • Strong knowledge of US partnership and corporate tax compliance, including Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3, withholding, and corporate provisions (Forms 1120, 1120-F).
  • Familiarity with fund structures such as blockers, feeders, parallel funds, and co-investment vehicles.
  • Experience reviewing and updating tax workbooks for annual taxable income.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Exposure to data analytics tools, process automation, or AI-driven solutions in the tax/accounting domain is a plus.
