Boston Insights seeks a data expert to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data solutions for pharmaceutical companies. The successful candidate will unlock clinical supply chain data, enabling end-to-end visibility.

About the Role
  • We're looking for someone who can design scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake.
  • Our ideal candidate will have expertise in ingesting and harmonizing data from external sources, including AWS-based data lakes/warehouses and SAP systems.
  • Automating ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across hybrid and multi-cloud environments is also a key responsibility.
Data Architecture & Infrastructure
  • We need someone to design and implement data lake and warehouse solutions on the Azure platform.
  • The successful candidate will establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality across all pipelines.
  • Implementing security best practices for handling sensitive pharmaceutical data is crucial.
  • Maintaining data documentation and lineage tracking is essential.
Automation & Tooling
  • Developing automation tools and reusable components using Python, PySpark (and other relevant frameworks/languages) is a must.
  • We're looking for someone who can enable end-to-end process automation for data ingestion, processing, and reporting.
