Job Title: HVAC Project EngineerKey Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering and installation solutions within our project delivery organization. You will ensure the production, testing, and documentation control for our systems are compliant with customer specifications and QA standards.

  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems is essential.
  • Installation and commissioning of chillers, pumps, panels, AHU, low side activity are key tasks.
  • Coordination with engineers and supervision of structural, controls, plumbing professional services are critical.
  • Designing mechanical work for industrial projects and developing cost-saving ways for the project are important responsibilities.
  • Working closely with the project manager with a focus on deliverable scope and improving project financials is also required.
  • Continuous proactive customer interaction including an in-depth understanding of customer needs/wants, scope, and systems currently in place is necessary.
  • Assisting in the bid phase by working with sales teams to provide technical recommendations and reviews is also required.
  • Providing leadership to junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices as required is an important responsibility.
  • A bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience or a diploma with 6-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Advanced computer/MS Windows skills, including software applications such as MS Projects, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc. are necessary.
  • Strong hands-on skills in HVAC, refrigeration packages, chillers, pumps, low side piping, and HVAC engineering experience are required.
  • Focused, collaborative, and passionate about project execution, and able to thrive in complex environments is an important requirement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills are also required.
  • A high level of organizational and time management skills is necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently is essential.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to ever-changing environments is also required.
Requirements:
